Use this to make your point clearly and persuasively
Before you start — Preflight:
Likely objection: "They'll worry that ________."
Claim (1 sentence): "The fact is ________."
Evidence (1 concrete example): "For example, in ________ (when), ________ (who) ________ (did what), and the result was ________ (number / outcome)."
Bottom line (plain meaning): "So the takeaway is ________."
Ask (specific next step): "Would you be open to ________ (small action) on/by ________ (date/time) so we can ________ (measurable outcome)?"
Three hard rules:
• A strong claim preempts the objection while sparking interest.
• If you don't have when / who / number, it's not evidence yet.
• If your ask can't be answered yes/no, it's not specific enough.
